Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Who this applies to

These terms apply to anyone using Novellum's services ("we", "our", "Novellum"), including website design and development, branding, uniforms and print, van design, and social media or SEO services. By engaging us for any of these services, you agree to these terms.

What we do

Novellum designs and builds websites, branding, and marketing materials for UK trades and construction businesses. Where we arrange printed goods such as uniforms or van signage, this is fulfilled via third-party print and production partners, we manage the design and ordering process on your behalf.

Quotes and pricing

Pricing is agreed individually per project before work begins. Any changes to scope after work has started may affect the final price, and we'll always confirm this with you before proceeding.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate content, images, and information for your project
  • Respond in a reasonable timeframe so we can keep projects moving
  • Only provide content you have the rights to use
  • Not use our services for any unlawful purpose

Ownership

Once a website or design project is paid in full, ownership of the final delivered files and design transfers to you. Novellum retains no ongoing claim over completed, paid work, though we may showcase completed projects in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Print and physical goods

Uniforms, van signage, and other printed items are produced by third-party suppliers. Turnaround times, sizing, and print quality are subject to that supplier's own terms. We'll do our best to resolve any issues with an order, but liability for manufacturing defects sits with the print supplier, not Novellum directly.

Liability

Novellum provides its services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our services. This does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Ending the service

Either party may end an ongoing arrangement (such as hosting or maintenance) with reasonable notice. Completed, one-off project work is not refundable once delivered and approved.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as Novellum's services develop. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
